The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said the transfers for all the social benefits, in the amount of 1.821,9 billion lei, including for paying allowances intended for families with children, were made. The institution noted that it has no debts in this regard, IPN reports.

A sum of 70.6 million lei is intended for maternity allowances, 1.7 million lei for paternity allowances, 31.7 million lei for one-off childbirth allowances, 100.1 million lei for monthly childcare allowances paid up to the child’s age of three, 1 million lei for monthly support allowances for twins and more children born at once up to the children’s age of three, and 24.5 million lei for monthly childcare allowances paid up to the child’s age of two.

Transfers were also made for the other social benefits, such as pensions, compensations, social assistance, unemployment benefit and cold-month allowances.
