Cold weather returns

Sleet and rain is expected to fall all over Moldova starting with January 24, which will be brought by a southern anticyclone, weather forecasters have said. Tatiana Strugac, head of the National Weather Forecasts Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the weather will grow colder after January 25 and there will be precipitation in most parts of the country. The minimum temperatures will vary between minus 13 and minus 18 degrees Celsius at night. According to Tatiana Strugac, the temperatures above zero are not something unusual for the end of January. Daytime temperature on January 22 was 13 degrees Celsius. Such temperatures are recorded once in five years.
