Interviews with academicians, newspapermen, writers, historians and sportspersons born in Orhei district were brought together in a book printed on the occasion of 15 years of the launch of the weekly “Cuvantul”. The book titled “30 questions from home” was produced by Tudor Iashchenko, author of the conception and the interviews, editor Elena Roman, and members of the editorial team Ion Cernei and Victor Sofroni. The 38 interviews were gathered from the newspaper’s permanent column through which the authors aimed to promote personalities born in Orhei. “The settlements of Orhei district should know the personalities of whom they should be proud,” said Tudor Yashchenko. Among the protagonists of the book are Vasile Botnaru, Valeriu Saharneanu, Leo Butnaru, Vasile Anestiade, and Anton Moraru. The book costs 65 lei.
