On March 1, when composer Eugen Doga turns 80, he will be honored in Parliament. The master will be present at the anniversary event entitled “Eugen Doga – 80 springs”, IPN reports.
The program of the event includes an exhibition of photographs, posters and publications from the composer’s personal collection and from the archive of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
Eugen Doga’s music will be performed in Parliament by children of the Music School “Eugen Doga”, the Music Lyceum “Ciprian Porumbescu”, the Choir “Voices of Spring” and the Quartet of Radio Moldova. The program will end with a recital by master Eugen Doga and panpipe player Vasile Iovu.
The event will involve MPs, ministers, people of culture and art and diplomats. It will be followed by an autograph session.
