The Cabinet has approved the concept of a governmental delivery service called MDelivery. Its necessity stems from the need to create a unique instrument to physically deliver public service items, such as documents, to beneficiaries, IPN reports.
MDelivery will be a joint platform connecting three subjects: the public service provider, as the sender, the beneficiary of the public service, as the recipient of the delivery, and the postal service provider.
The platform will reduce costs for all three parties involved - a single contract will be signed for both senders and postal service providers on access to the MDelivery service. All shippers part of the platform will be able to use the delivery services provided by all postal service providers that have signed a contract with the Agency within the scope of the authorization held.
The Electronic Governance Agency will be the owner and operator of MDelivery, which is to be developed within six months.
