The result at the theoretical driving exam will be valid for a year. This is stipulated in a Government decision that was published in the Official Gazette. Until now the period of validity was 90 days, IPN reports.

If the future drivers do not pass the practical driving test during a year, including the examination ground and road tests, they will have to take again the theoretical exam.

It is also published the model of the international driver’s license that will be issued based on the valid national driver’s license for a period of up to three years, on condition that this period does not exceed the period of validity of the national driver’s license.

Recently, the Public Services Agency modified the routes of the road tests, reducing the number of examination routes from ten to five in the categories/subcategories B, BE, D1, D1E and D. The new system enables to examine three candidates on one route without returning to the starting point. The length of a route was increased from almost 8 km to 21 km and each tested person will drive by 7 km.
