A conscript serviceman who beat up a fellow soldier and broke his lower jaw was sentenced to 2 years' imprisonment with 3 years' probation, IPN reports.
The Prosecutor General's Office recalled in a press release that the soldier, a conscript at the Balti-based Mechanized Infantry Brigade no.1, struck a fellow soldier in a fight and fractured his mandible.
The sentence is appealable.
