The budget of the Constitutional Court of Moldova in 2010 will be 5.9 million lei, as agreed by the Parliament on December 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. Veaceslav Ionita, chairman of the parliamentary commission for economy, industry, budget and finances, said the budget planned by the Constitutional Court was 6.3 million lei initially. A sum of 3.1 million lei was earmarked for payment of salaries. “The commission and the Ministry of Finance analyzed the Constitutional Court's calculations and jointly agreed to reduce the sum by 400,000 lei,” Ionita explained. The Government is to include the sum in the state budget for 2010.
