The sixth contest for stimulating the taxpayers that will take place on April 30 will be the last one. The Government decided to cancel the contest as it did not produce the projected results, Info-Prim Neo reports. It was established that most of the envelopes sent to the State Main Tax Inspectorate contained receipts issued by one or two retail outlets. This shows that the participants in the contest did not consciously collect receipts, but took them from shop counters, where they were left by other buyers, said Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta. The draws were held every quarter. The prize fund for one contest was 100,000 lei.
