Corruptible MPs will be identified through database

The members of Parliament who promote bills that pursue certain goals and contain corruptibility, abuse and discrimination risks and those who drafted no bill or missed many of the parliamentary sittings will be identified with the help of a database compiled by the Center for the Analysis and Prevention of Corruption. The database could be accessed online, Info-Prim Neo reports. “This database represents a supervision system designed to contribute to greater transparency and responsibility on the part of the legislators towards the voters, to the participation of the legal community and the civil society in the public monitoring of the legislative process, to easier access to information about the risks of the legislation under adoption,” said the Center's director Galina Bostan. The information included in the database was collected and systematized on the basis of the shorthand reports of the Parliament's meetings. It is a synthesis of the work of every MP and every parliamentary group. The database will become operational in mid-February.
