The Chisinau Court of Appeals on April 15 will give judgment in the case of former Minister of the Interior Gheorghe Papuc and former general police commissioner Vladimir Botnari, who are accused of professional misconduct during the April 2009 events, prosecutor Sergiu Rosu has told IPN.

The prosecutor said that if the generals are acquitted this time too, they will appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice.

At the end of 2011, the Centru district court acquitted the two.

The case of Botnari and Papuc was initiated in June 2010.
