Four women and two men aged between 50 and 81 died because of COVID-19 in Moldova today. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, all the persons suffered from different diseases, IPN reports.

The death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 202.

Another 192 persons were confirmed with COVID-19 on May 15. Of these, 52 cases were recorded in the Transnistrian region.

As many as 1,344 tests were done today. Of these, 1,117 were primary tests and 227 were rerun tests.

The number of infections with the novel coronavirus in Moldova now rose to 5,745. Of those infected, 2,280 recovered.
