Unvaccinated health care workers will not be eligible for the 16,000 lei lump-sum benefit after getting Covid, and their families will not be entitled to the 100,000 lei benefit in case the disease leads to death, as decided today by the Government.
Employees who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine until the time the virus is contracted will no longer be able to receive the one-time financial assistance provided in connection with exposure to the risk of illness.
The Ministry of Health says the measure was developed in order to adjust support measures for health care workers at risk of disease in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
