As of May 1 until October 1, cows can be pastured in forests, but only in those with low productivity, where the acacias are older than 15, and those that are not affected by landslide or erosion, IPN reports, with reference to the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva”.
It is banned pasturing in natural areas protected by the state and non-wooded areas intended for regeneration. The access of cows to water protection strips, in areas where the trees are affected by draught or natural disasters is also banned.
The pasturing of goats and sheep in forests is banned. It is also not allowed building fences, barrages or pens there. It is yet allowed placing beehives in pastures that are state property free.
