CSM appoints Board of National Justice Institute

The Supreme Council of Magistracy (CSM) has appointed 7 judges to the Board of the National Justice Institute, Info-Prim Neo reports. At its Tuesday's sitting, the CSM decided that the judges whose mandates had expired shall be replaced by 7 other judges – 3 nominated by the Supreme Court of Justice, 2 by the Chisinau Court of Appeals and 2 by primary jurisdiction courts. The 7 appointed judges are: Constantin Alergus, Valentin Barba, Nicolai Burdila, Dumitru Chebac, Gheorghe Cretu , Maria Malanciuc and Radu Turcanu. Established on 9 November 2007, the National Justice Institute is a public institution created for the introductory training and ongoing professional development of judges, prosecutors and other staff involved in the administration of justice.
