The Customs Service implemented a system for training and assessing its employees from a distance, in accordance with the EU practices. According to a communiqué from the institution, the e-learning system enables the entire customs personnel to have access to electronic courses and the information posted on the special information platform of the Customs Service, Info-Prim Neo reports. Each customs employee will be able to access the new self-training and assessment electronic system on the basis of a personal account and password. The whole process will be managed by the Training Center of the Customs Service. A group of experts of the Romanian customs authority helps to test the new system and provides the necessary assistance to trainers so as to systematize the process of improving the professional abilities at a distance.
