Dacia beat Austrian leading club
Dacia Chisinau on Tuesday defeated SV Ried, one of the leading clubs of Austria, 1-0, in their first friendly played as part of a preparatory campaign in the Turkish resort of Antalya, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The only goal of the match was scored by Maxim Mihaliov from a free kick late in the game.
Dacia thus took revenge for a 1-2 defeat last year from the Austrian club also in a friendly played in Turkey.
Igor Dobrovolski's side will play their next match on February 4 against FC Krasnodar, a club that has 4 Moldovan players.
Two other Moldovan clubs are currently training in Antalya: Zimbru Chisinau today will encounter China's Tianjin Teda and Milsami-Ursidos Orhei will play Poland's Gurnik Zabrze.
A fourth Moldovan club, Academia UTM Chisinau, will arrive at the Turkish resort on Thursday and a few days later Nistru Otaci will join in.
