The State Hydrometeorology Service has warned that the level of water in small rivers can rise by 0.2-0.6 meters on May 15 – 19 following the heavy precipitation forecast. Slope outflows are possible in parts, IPN reports.
The companies managing ponds and reservoirs are warned to monitor the state of the levees as they can crack or burst as a result of an increase in the level of water.
