A deaf and speech-impaired girl aged 24 was taken to the hospital on suspicion that she was raped. She was drunk and had bruises and scratches on the body, Chisinau Ambulance Service spokesman Petru Cravet has told Info-Prim Neo. According to the press officer of the General Police Commissariat Adrian Jovmir, the persons who are suspected of raping the woman were identified, but cannot be yet arrested as the results of the medical examination are not yet available. The suspects are aged 41 and 33. They are acquaintances of the girl's boyfriend. According to the police, the girl was raped in her boyfriend's apartment, when he was not at home. It is not known if the girl drank alcohol voluntarily or was forced to. On May 15, a young woman from Bubuieci informed the police that she was rapped on the territory of a kindergarten situated in Chisinau's Botanica district. The medical examination confirmed that the 20-year-old girl was forced to have sex. The attacker was arrested and faces a long prison term.
