Prime Minister Vlad Filat proposed declaring December 25 as nonworking day by Government Decision, given that many Moldovans celebrate Christmas according to the new calendar, Info-Prim Neo reports. Instead, a nonworking day in January will be workday. The date will be decided later. The Premier requested Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga to prepare a bill by which December 25 will obtain the permanent status of nonworking day. The Government Wednesday also approved a decision by which December 22 was transformed into workday, while December 31 into nonworking day.
