December 25 declared nonworking day
Prime Minister Vlad Filat proposed declaring December 25 as nonworking day by Government Decision, given that many Moldovans celebrate Christmas according to the new calendar, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Instead, a nonworking day in January will be workday. The date will be decided later.
The Premier requested Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga to prepare a bill by which December 25 will obtain the permanent status of nonworking day.
The Government Wednesday also approved a decision by which December 22 was transformed into workday, while December 31 into nonworking day.
