The Cabinet on January 17 approved the institution of a structural subdivision at the State Chancellery, which will provide organizational and informational assistance to Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Iurie Leanca in fulfilling his duties, IPN reports.

Given the approval of such a decision, the personnel of the State Chancellery will be supplemented with five units.

The document also envisions structural adjustments to the State Chancellery given that the functional capacities of some of the subdivisions need to be strengthened, especially of the subdivisions that ensure the coordination and monitoring of the activity of managing the central public administration and the exercise by the Government of its legal prerogatives in the relations with the authorities of the local public authorities.
