The Protocol to the Agreement on the international occasional carriage of passengers by coach and bus (Interbus Agreement) was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu during his visit to Brussels. The document offers the carriers in Moldova the opportunity to sign partnership agreements with representatives of transport companies of the destinations states, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
“For our passengers, this document that refers to international carriage of passengers by coach and bus ensures a high level of harmonization of the technical conditions applying to the units of transport that provide occasional international services in Europe,” stated Nicu Popescu.
Brussels today hosts the sixth meeting of the EU-Moldova Association Council that is co-chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
