The members of the diaspora will be more actively engaged in the country’s socioeconomic development. For the purpose, the Government approved the signing of an agreement with the International Organization for Migration, IPN reports.
The document is designed to support the initiatives that promote the national identity, including cultural and linguistic values, and to also improve communication between representatives of the diaspora and the authorities and to ensure their involvement in the development of public policies.
The agreement will promote more efficient cooperation in the field of migration and national development and will strengthen the positive impact of migration by involving professionals from the diaspora in the socioeconomic development of the country.
To implement the agreement, the International Organization for Migration will allocate US$200,000 worth of grants.
