Seventy research institutions and 16 independent inventors from Moldova will participate in the eleventh International Specialized Exhibition "Infoinvent” with over 400 inventions. Nine representatives from Ukraine, Romania and Russia are also expected to come to the exhibition that will take place at Moldexpo between November 24 and 27, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Dorian Chirosca, director of the State Agency on Intellectual Property Protection, which organizes the exhibition, 141 applications for participation concern such fields as medicine, pharmaceutics and cosmetics, while 106 applications – food, agriculture and new sorts of plans.
“The innovational factor became fundamental in the economic recovery of the developing countries. This exhibition aims to promote new products and technology and the exchange of technical and scientific information, to stimulate innovative work and attract investments to implement innovatory projects,” he said.
The Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer will organize the Invention and Technology Flair as part of the exhibit. About 100 economic entities have been invited to participate in the event. The Agency will also provide financial support for implementing new technology at companies, said the Agency’s deputy director Mihai Vornicescu.
The jury of the exhibition will consist of academicians, doctors habilitate, representatives of international invention offices. The winners will be named on November 27 during the closing ceremony.
The participants will exhibit new products, services and technology, new sorts of plants, industrial models and handicrafts on an area of about 350 square meters. The exhibit-contest is held once in two years.
