The direct flight Chisinau-Florence was launched on June 14. This is the seventh destination to Italy from Moldova. A one-way ticket costs €69 and up, with all taxes included. The flight will be provided two times a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and will be operated by an Embraer 190 aircraft, IPN reports, quoting Air Moldova.
Attending the launch at the Chisinau International Airport, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Iurie Chirinciuc said the authorities welcome the opening of this flight that was awaited by Moldovans and Italians too. “This is one of the most preferred destinations of the Moldovans and of people from all over the world,” he stated.
Air Moldova director Iulian Scorpan thanked the passengers who decided to travel to Florence. “Today we launched the seventh destination to Italy. Thus, we will offer the Moldovans who live near the region Tuscany the possibility of being closer to the dear people whom they left at home,” he said.
Those present at the Chisinau International Airport could taste a cake that was specially prepared on this occasion.
