The last issue this year of the sociocultural magazine “Moldova” contains discreet heroes of our time, among whom painter Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu, IPN exports.

The November-December issue includes an interview with Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu, where the artist, who is 95, relates her childhood memories and how her passion for painting started and speaks about people who marked her destiny.

The magazine also presents Moldovan artists who became known in the world, including actor Valeriu Andriuta, who is in demand in Romania and Russia, and famous violinist Rusanda Panfili.

The readers can also find cultural and existential articles and articles typical of the Moldovan folklore and mentality. At yearend, the magazine’s division “Visiting home” is about specialists from Anenii Noi who perpetuate culture at local level and make considerable effort to keep and promote the people’s traditions and customs.

In 2016, the publication will appear in a new graphic form and will continue to present authentic artists and personalities of Moldova.
