The works to disinfect and kill insects and rats in the blocks of the municipal housing sector are under way. Such works are now executed in Ciocana district of Chisinau and the local authorities intend to publish the list of addresses where disinfection works will be carried out, IPN reports.

In the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, Ion Burdiumov, head of the Public Amenities Division, said that insect and rat killing works last week were performed in over 90 apartment buildings. The Division during the next few days will publish the list of addresses so that the citizens know where such works will be executed.

The functionary noted that the costs of such works will be published weekly. The municipality this year allocated 2.4 million lei for such purposes.

Sergei Carp, chief of the Green Areas Association, said that tick annihilation works are performed in the Park “Valea Morilor”. Similar works this week will be executed in all the parks of Chisinau.
