Dispute related to post of Health Direction’s chief continues
Two chiefs of the Health Direction, one appointed by the Chisinau Council (CMC) and the other supported by Chisinau’s mayor, were present at the staff meeting of the Chisinau city hall on Monday, December 22. Following an exchange of replies between the mayor and the servant appointed by CMC, both claimants to the post remained in the hall till the end of the meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca stated that the CMC’s decision provides expressly that the Health Direction’s chief, voted by local authorities, will be able to perform his attributions after concluding a work contract with the city hall. “If you don’t have a work contract, on the basis of which normative act have have you issued an order of overtaking the post of a chief? If you do not agree you may sue me, I can’t understand why have you preferred to act illegally?” Chirtoaca asked Ion Arteni. “According to the CMC’s decision, me, and no one else, can be the Health Direction’s chief,” Arteni replied.
The mayor supports Mihai Moldovanu as a chief of the Health Direction and he accuses the police of having impeding him to exert his attributions.
The padlock of the entrance door and the door of the chief’s bureau were changed at the Health Direction’s quarters, at the beginning of December. Also then a post of police was put to guard. Mihai Moldovanu, who felt bad, was taken to hospital, and Ion Arteni occupied his office.
