An employee of the Donduseni customs post was arrested on suspicion that he asked and took €100 from a person for not causing problems in the customs to him. According to the denouncer, the customs officer took by €50 for a loaded truck, IPN reports, quoting the National Anticorruption Center.

A criminal case for passive corruption was started against the customs officer. He was put under arrest for 72 hours and faces up to 10 years in jail and a fine of up to 60,000 lei.
