Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca participates at the Mayors Forum in Beijing, China; the forum’s motto is “Long-lasting city development”, reports Info-Prim Neo. According to a communiqué for the City Hall, the Mayor gave a speech at the opening of the forum, which took place today, during which he addressed Chisinau’s long-lasting development. During the next days, Dorin Chirtoaca will meet with representatives from major Chinese investment companies that deal with recyclable waste and transportation, as well as with Beijing’s local administration. Mayors from Washington, Copenhagen, Budapest, Riga, Minsk, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Bangkok, Tirana, Colombo, Busan, and others, participate at the Forum. Our Mayor’s visit to China is a response to an invitation from his Beijing counterpart, Guo Jinlong. Dorin Chirtoaca will return to Chisinau on July 6.
