A man aged 28 lost his life when he crashed his car into a tree, overturning it. The accident occurred near the Chisinau International Airport last night.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the young man was travelling from Sangera town to the airport. He had no passenger in his car. The circumstances of the accident are not yet known. Speeding is among the possible causes.

An investigation is underway.
