A driver aged 40 lost his life in an accident that happened at the entrance to Anenii Noi town on February 15 at about 5pm. Traffic Police Division press officer Dana Andronic has told Info-Prim Neo that the Opel driven by the 40-year-old man collided with an Audi that was coming from the opposite direction. The driver of the Opel died on the spot, while the other driver aged 24 and his passenger were rushed to the hospital. A pedestrian aged 45 was struck fatally by a car in Orhei town the same day at about 7pm. According to the police, the man was jaywalking.
