A man was rushed to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital in a serious condition after his car was involved in a traffic accident. Dana Andronic, press officer of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened near the barrage of Danceni village, Ialoveni, on Friday morning, at about 10.00. The 50-year-old man driving an Opel Vectra car did not give way to a minibus running on the Chisinau-Cahul route. The two vehicles collided. No occupant of the minibus needed medical care. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Emergency Hospital spokesman Petru Cravet said the man was hospitalized with a cranial-cerebral trauma, a thoracic trauma, and fractures of the femur and pelvic bones. He is now in the reanimatology section.
