More than 150 public institutions will be connected to the automated system e-Invoice by September 1, the Government’s press service has said, quoted by IPN.

In August, the State Main Tax Inspectorate will organize a training course on the use of the e-Invoice system and will make sure that the ministries, central public authorities managed by the Government and the autonomous public institutions are connected to this system by September 1.

The measure is aimed at reducing the risk of corruption in the public procurement process, increasing transparency at public institutions and at diminishing their administrative costs.

The connection to the automated system e-Invoice will be ensured by IS “Fiscservinform”. The E-Government Center, in concert with the Secretariat of the Economic Council, will provide the necessary support in this process.
