The traditional Easter Fair staged in Chisinau was opened on April 11 and will last by April 14. It was set up on Pushkin St, near the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth”, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall. The fair involves 103 companies, 52 of which are national producers. They sell Easter pound cakes, painted eggs and other products that are traditionally eaten on Easter as well as nonfood products that are in demand in the period. The Easter Fair is organized by the Chisinau City Hall.
