The educational process at all the levels of education will remain  halted at least until March 31, Prime Minister Ion Chicu stated after the March 18 meeting of the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health, IPN reports.

“First of all, we decided to extend the suspension of the educational process, of the vacation, until March 31, 2020, with the possibility of reviewing the decision later, if the epidemiological situation develops not as we would like,” Premier Chicu told a press briefing.

He noted that the Commission’s decision provides that the educational process at the education institutions of all levels should be organized by using information technology. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research is working out and implementing such tools.

Initially, the educational process was suspended for the period between March 11 and March 23, by order of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
