A girl aged eight from Gotesti, Cantemir district was hit mortally by a BMW on the central road crossing the village. Cantemir commissioner Vitalie Miron has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at about 5pm on Friday, September 23. The girl’s house is located near the main road of the village. The driver said the girl appeared out of the blue and he could not avoid the collision. The child died on the spot. The girl was left in the care of her grandmother. Her mother has worked abroad for eight years and hasn’t kept in touch with the family. Her farter is working as a guard at a hospital in Cantemir town.
