Elderly woman stabbed for a bottle of wine
An elderly woman from Hincesti district was killed by a man who went to her to buy wine, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The crime was committed in December 2010. The prosecutors established that two men under the influence went to the victim to purchase wine. One of them followed the woman into the cellar, where he stabbed her to death with a knife.
The men, aged 39 and 29, took the body into the house, locked the door and set the house on fire, going out through the window. They both had been earlier convicted.
The man who stabbed the elderly woman got 14 years, while his accomplice – two years and three months.
