The events organized on the Chisinau City Day took place without major incidents. However, eleven people were arrested, Info-Prim Neo reports. Head of the municipal police Silviu Musuc stated Monday at the City Hall meeting that the most of the people were arrested for begging. Three minors were taken to the temporary placement center for minors. Silviu Musuc said that one man tried to enter the protected area in the Great National Assembly Square with his personal gun, even through the police repeatedly warned that access with any kind of weapons was forbidden. The case was documented and the man risks a fine of 100-150 conventional units and might be stripped of his gun permit. The police also denied the access to people who tried to enter the concert area drunken. This year, the authorities allowed the trade of alcoholic beverages in the Great National Assembly Square, with the exception of liquors.
