Several employees at a firm in Chisinau were caught falsifying shelf life figures on packages of diary products and cans of energy drinks manufactured in 2009 and 2010. CCCEC said in a press release the employees erased the old figures with acetone and then inscribed new ones, using toothpicks and ink. The storehouse where the employees were caught is located on Calea Iesilor 10. They claimed they had instructions from their superiors, but the firm's manager denied it. After the products in the storehouse are evaluated, the CCCEC officers will seek to identify the sales networks.
