The second European SME Week will take place in Moldova from September 29 until October 5. The events are organized by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Organization for the SME Sector Development, IPN reports.
On September 29, an informative seminar for young entrepreneurs “From idea to business” will be held at the head office of the Organization for the SME Sector Development. On October 1, there will be staged the second workshop “Energy in business” of the series “Benefits of Association”, in the same location.
On October 1-2, the international forum-exhibition “B2B” will take place at the exhibitions center “Moldexpo”. This exhibit of business products and services brings together different platforms and business resources for entrepreneurs and managers.
On October 2, the international conference “SMEs – Way to European performance” will be staged at the Palace of the Republic. The conference will include an official ceremony to hand over awards to the winners of the contests “Best entrepreneur from the SME sector” and “SMEs - social responsibility model”.
On October 4, the Leogrand Convention Centre will host a workshop within the Women Entrepreneurs’ Platform, entitled “For a teacup: Intelligent promotion methods”.
On October 30, the regional forum “Entrepreneurship – key factor in regional development”, staged by the South Regional Development Agency, will take place in Cimislia. It will involve representatives from Cimislia, Stefan-Voda, Causeni, Cantemir, Leova, Taraclia, and Cahul districts.
In all the country’s districts, there will be held roundtable meetings, public debates, training sessions and seminars, and meetings that will center on startups, implementation of the labor legislation and of the European quality standards, the amendments to the fiscal legislation and other issues.
The European SME Week is coordinated by the European Commission and takes place simultaneously in another 37 countries.
