The former deputy head of Edinet district is being investigated for passive corruption, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The investigation was launched following videos placed by unknowns on the Internet, showing the functionary taking money from a number of persons in his office.

The circumstances and goal of placing video cameras in the functionary’s office are being established by employees of the Edinet Police Inspectorate in a separate criminal case.
