The Ciocana Court order by 30 more days of arrest for the former MPs who are investigated for unjust enrichment: Artur Reshetnicov, Sergiu Sîrbu, Anatolie Zagorodnyi and Vladimir Vitiuc. The information was confirmed for IPN by the spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Mariana Cherpec.

One of the four ex-MPs, Vladimir Vitiuc, was admitted to a medical institution.

Former MP Violeta Ivanov, who is investigated in the same case, is under house arrest. On February 23, the court extended the period of house arrest for 30 days.

The five former MPs were detained on February 2. They are all investigated for unjust enrichment as a result of the corrupting of MPs for defecting from their parliamentary groups to others.
