The Government will allocate 54,000 lei from its reserve fund for publishing two books about the mass deportations in the Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic (MSSR), IPN reports, quoting a Cabinet decision.

The books will have by 1,100 pages and will be entitled “Mass deportations in the Moldovan SSR of June 13-16, 1941. Introductive study. Unique documents from the archives of the Republic of Moldova” and “Mass deportations in the Moldovan SSR of July 5-9, 1949. Operation “SUD”. Introductive study. Unique documents from the archives of the Republic of Moldova”.

A sum of 123 600 de lei will be spent on the publication of the two books, on the initiative of the State Archive Service. The volumes will be issued in 200 copies each.
