Experts from 14 countries exchange experience in providing employment services

Experts from 14 countries have come together in Chisinau for an international conference themed “Services of a high quality – key to success in work with employers”. During two days, the participants exchanged experience in implementing modern employment practices and in maintaining and improving the communication relations with employers, IPN reports.

Ion Holban, director of the National Employment Agency of Moldova, said the labor market always represented a derivative of the economy. That’s why a prosperous economy brings highly paying jobs.

Director general of the Public Employment Service of Croatia Ankica Paun Jarallah said that in 2008 Croatia crated a new service called the mobile team by which the jobless people are informed about the vacancies in their settlements.

In Slovenia, cooperation relations were established at all the levels to quickly inform those interested about the vacancies, said the representative of this country Ursa Dolinar.

“Our duty is to help the persons with disabilities who do not have a job. During five years, we have worked actively with employers so as to solve problem and continue to do this. We focus on large companies where the disabled persons can be employed,” said Tsoghic Beyhanyan from Armenia.

On January 1, 2007, the National Employment Agency of Moldova became one of the 94 members of the World Association of Public Employment Services that is the largest global intermediary between the employers and the persons looking for a job.
