Fifteen apartment buildings in Chisinau’s Botanica district may be disconnected from the water supply this week because they accumulated debts of over 600,000 lei. Another 12 blocks situated in Ciocana district were reconnected to the water supply after the dwellers partially paid the debt for water, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, the blocks that risk remaining without running water are situated at 28 Minsk St,  8, 10/3, 14/1, 14/2, 42, 44, 46, 42/1, 42/2 Independentei St, 94/1, 45/1 Sarmizegetusa St, 12 Gradina Botanica St, 25/2 Cuza-Voda St, and  14/1 Bacioi Noi St.

The water supplier requests settling the debts as soon as possible. After the 12 buildings in Ciocana remained without water, more than 110,000 lei was transferred to the company’s accounts. Most of the end-users who were issued with warnings paid partially the bills.
