First 2011 Eurovision finalists known

Ten of the 19 countries that competed in the first semifinal of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest on Dusseldorf's Arena Esprit on Tuesday made it through to Saturday's grand final. The second semifinal will take place on Thursday, May 12, Info-Prim Neo reports. The ten finalists are: 1. Serbia - Nina Radojčić “Čaroban” (“The Wonderful Man”) 2. Lithuania - Evelina Sašenko “C'est ma vie” (“This is My Life”) 3. Greece - Loucas Yiorkas and Stereo Mike “Watch My Dance” 4. Azerbaijan - Ell and Nikki “Running Scared” 5. Georgia - Eldrine “One More Day” 6. Switzerland - Anna Rossinelli “In Love for a While” 7. Hungary - Kati Wolf “What About My Dreams?” 8. Finland - Paradise Oskar “Da Da Dam” 9. Russia - Alexei Vorobiov “Get You” 10. Iceland - Sjónni's Friends “Coming Home” Poland, Norway, Albania, Armenia, Turkey, Malta, San Marino, Croatia, and Portugal failed to qualify for the grand final. Moldova will be among the 19 countries that will compete in the second semifinal. The band “Zdob si Zdub” will sing their song “ So Lucky” the seventh. The contest will be opened by Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other contenders are: Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Ukraine, Moldova, Sweden, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Israel, Slovenia, Romania, Estonia, Belarus, Latvia, Denmark, and Ireland. In 2005, Moldova's representatives at Eurovision - “Zdob si Zdub” - ranked sixth in Kiev, while in 2007 Natalia Barbu finished tenth in Helsinki. In 2009, Nelly Ciobanu ranked 14th, while last year Olia Tira & Sunstroke Project – 22nd.
