First ten flood-hit families will soon move to new homes
The first ten families affected by this summer’s floods that wanted to be provided with bought houses will soon move to new homes. In its September 18 meeting, the Government approved the allocation of 1.85 million lei for purchasing the houses, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The houses are situated in Cotul Morii, Obileni, Nemteni and Secareni villages of Hancesti district, in Ghioltosu and Cotesti villages of Cantemir district, in Ungheni town and in Macaresti village of Ungheni district. A house costs 185,000 lei on average.
Deputy Minister of State Anatolie Onceanu said the houses for the other 60 families that chose a purchased house instead a newly-built one will be bought in four tranches. The last will be in October. The flood victims will be able to move to the new houses immediately after the contracts for sale and purchase are signed.
All the underground bases of the 530 houses designed for flood-hit families from Cotul Morii have been dug on the plateau near Leuseni village. The foundations of 83 houses have been laid. So far, there have been erected the walls and ceilings of eight houses.
The inhabitants of the four villages affected by floods (Obileni, Cotul Morii, Sarateni, and Nemteni) will obtain and register the house ownership documents free of charge. A mobile team of the Hancesti Local Cadastre Office will travel to the villages and provide assistance to the persons who will encounter difficulties in validating the documents.
