Five candidates have been admitted to the competition for the position of director of the Customs Service: Natalia Calenic, Sava Maimescu, Vladislav Șveț, Iurie Gorea and Marin Gospodarenco. The Competition Commission confirmed the decision on Wednesday, October 9, after verifing the eligibility criteria and the professional reputation of the applicants, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Finance informs in a press release that the next step will be the competition of the submitted files, which will be held as a public session. The date will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Finance, and the Customs Service.  Also there will be posted the CVs, letters of motivation and the development concept presented by each candidate.

The contest for the position of director of the Customs Service was announced on September 3,  and the deadline for submitting the files was September 30. A total of 22 aspirants applied.
