Five Moldovans hurt in accident in Romania

Five citizens of Moldova were injured in an accident near Guranda village of the Romanian county Botosani in the morning of March 7. Those hurt include a child aged six months, IPN reports, quoting Agerpres.

The driver of a car with Moldova license numbers going from Vama Stanca to Botosani municipality lost control of the vehicle and this overturned at a dangerous turn.

According to officer Ionut Apostol, of the Botosani Traffic Police Service, the driver didn’t adjust the speed to the conditions on the road, which was wet. Five of the victims were taken by ambulances to the Mavromati County Hospital.

PR adviser of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ana Samson said the Ministry does not possess details about the accident and is to contact Moldova’s Embassy in Bucharest.
